Look good for longer.
By removing hair at the root, new hair doesn’t grow back for up to six weeks. While professional waxing isn’t one of our most relaxing spa treatments, it certainly helps many of our clients look great and feel more confident!
We do not perform intimate waxing on anyone under the age of 18.
Brazilian Waxing Pre & Post-Care
Pre-Wax Care
To ensure the best results and a comfortable experience, follow these steps before your Brazilian wax:
Hair Length: Ensure your hair is at least ¼ inch long (about the length of a grain of rice) for optimal waxing results. Avoid trimming too short.
Exfoliation: Gently exfoliate the bikini area 24 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin and prevent ingrown hairs. Avoid harsh scrubs on the day of your wax.
Hydration: Keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water and moisturizing regularly (except on the day of the wax).
Wear Loose Clothing: Opt for soft, breathable fabrics to prevent irritation post-wax.
Skip Lotions & Oils: Avoid applying lotions, oils, or heavy creams to the area before your appointment, as they can interfere with wax adhesion.
Schedule Smartly: Avoid waxing right before your period when your skin may be extra sensitive. The best time is mid-cycle for the least discomfort.
Post-Wax Care
To keep your skin smooth, irritation-free, and prevent ingrown hairs, follow these aftercare tips:
Avoid Heat & Friction: For at least 24–48 hours, avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and tight clothing that can cause friction.
No Touching: Avoid touching the freshly waxed area to prevent bacteria from causing irritation or breakouts.
Exfoliate Gently: After 48 hours, gently exfoliate 2–3 times a week with a mild scrub or exfoliating gloves to prevent ingrown hairs.
Moisturize: Use a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer or an aloe-based gel to soothe and hydrate the skin.
Skip Workouts & Swimming: Avoid intense workouts, pools, and ocean water for at least 24 hours to prevent irritation and bacterial exposure.
No Tanning or Harsh Products: Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and products with retinol, AHAs, or strong chemicals for 48 hours post-wax.
Stay Consistent: Waxing regularly (every 4–6 weeks) will result in finer, sparser hair over time and a more comfortable waxing experience.
By following these simple steps, you’ll enjoy smooth, long-lasting results with minimal discomfort. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to our team!
