Due to the fact that fungal and viral infections are highly contagious with skin to skin contact, we at St. George Day Spa are unable to perform services including massage, pedicures, manicures, etc. on guests who have these infections.
These include but are not limited to
Athlete’s foot
Ringworm
Nail fungi
Warts
Plantar warts
Please keep in mind that Gel Application and Removal in our Featured Pedicure, Agave Signature Pedicure, and our Sports Pedicures are TREATMENT ENHANCERS and will have an extra cost and time associated.
M’Lis Body Wrap Pre and Post Care
Preparation - One Week Prior to Your Service
Hydration: Drink at least half your body weight in ounces of water daily for one week prior to your first body wrap.
Niacin Warning: The contour cream used in the body wrap contains niacin. If you are taking niacin supplements or using products with niacin (such as tanning creams or energy drinks), please reduce your niacin intake to prevent a potential retention reaction during the treatment.
Day of Your Service
Hydration: Avoid drinking anything for two hours prior to your wrap to minimize the need for restroom breaks during the session.
Skin Preparation:
Avoid using moisturizers or lotions.
Do not shave on the day of your appointment.
Refrain from applying heat sources to your body before, during, or immediately after the wrap (this includes activities that raise your body temperature).
After Your Service
Immediate Care:
Do not shower for 6–8 hours post-wrap to allow the product to continue working.
Ongoing Maintenance:
Exfoliate with an enzymatic product three times per week.
Maintain a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise and a balanced diet, to preserve the inches lost.
Limit or avoid processed foods, caffeine, carbonated beverages, refined sugar, white flour, and red meat.
Prioritize drinking water (at least half your body weight in ounces daily) before consuming other beverages.
Important Restrictions
Do Not Schedule a Wrap If You Have:
A heart condition requiring blood thinners (e.g., Coumadin).
Epilepsy.
A cancer diagnosis not in remission for at least two years.
Are pregnant or nursing.
